Little Dove Theatre Art
Artistic Director: Chenoeh Miller
As Artistic Director of Little Dove Theatre Art, Chenoeh Miller is creating a new kind of theatre – a Theatre of Love – that uses philosophy, emotional intelligence and biology to make performance that truly connects with audiences and inspires them to make change.
Previous works include: Six Women Standing in Front of a White Wall, (La Boite, 2006; National Multicultural Festival 2007; Edinburgh Fringe 2007; Melbourne Fringe 2009; 2High Festival 2009). Awards for Six Women include: Scotland on Sunday Best Director Award, Herald Angel Award, Melbourne Fringe Best Dance, and Gasworks Award. As associate artist and tutor with Canberra Youth Theatre, Chenoeh devised and directed Six Billion Love (2009) and Battlefield (2010, 2011). 2011 saw the premiere of her original script CORDELIA at The Street Theatre, Canberra 2011 supported by Arts ACT and The Street Theatre. Current projects include It Only Takes a Moment for Lifeline Canberra, a street art campaign to remind people that it only takes a moment to tell someone you love them. And Today I, Tomorrow You, a new live art work for Fringe Canberra and Canberra Museum and Gallery.
Chenoeh is Manager of Retail and Events for Lifeline Canberra, Artistic Director of the MAMAs (MusicACT Music Awards), and Curator of Sound and Fury, a biannual 9-hour performance art festival at NewActon.
